An expressive and dreamlike oil painting depicting a whimsical stilt village built over calm, misty water. A cluster of rustic houses with vibrant, colorful roofs in brilliant shades of turquoise, purple, orange, yellow, and green are connected by a long, winding wooden boardwalk. Several small boats with colorful covers float quietly on the reflective water below, and tiny human figures can be seen walking on the dock. The background features a soft, atmospheric grey sky with textured, billowing white clouds and a large, dark, abstract mass of foliage framing the upper left. Rich canvas texture, visible painterly brushstrokes, ethereal mood, and a harmonious balance between earthy tones and vivid pops of primary and secondary colors.
Oil painting depicting a vibrant floating village on a calm body of water. A series of wooden stilt houses with brightly colored roofs in shades of turquoise, purple, orange, yellow, and green line the shore, connected by a winding wooden boardwalk. Several small boats with colorful awnings float on the tranquil water, reflecting the colors of the houses and the sky. The sky is a mix of gray and white clouds, and lush, dark green trees frame the upper left corner of the composition, with textured, impasto brushstrokes visible throughout the artwork.
