Saidaiji Eyo Hadaka Matsuri, commonly known as the Naked Man Festival, is a historic religious ritual held annually at Saidaiji Kannon-in Temple in Okayama City, Japan. The event takes place on the third Saturday of February and is recognized as one of Japan's three most eccentric festivals and an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset.
A few of my classmates took part, but I was too much of a weenie that day. It was very cold.
