First of all, I want to credit and thank @Rojitha Yasaswin for the prompt that I only slightly altered to achieve these results. I'd had trouble coming up with a prompt of my own to do really good, gritty portraits. When I saw her work, I tried her great prompt and it was magical!
I grew up in the city, but for years now, I have been lucky to be able to live in rural America. I see how hard the small scale farmers of Ohio work to produce their corn and soybeans, especially in the heat. The USAID often bought much of their crops and now, under the current administration, that has been radically cut back. Most US small scale farmers choose to live the life because they love it and have deep ancestral roots in farming. It's ironic that the poor people of the world will no longer benefit from being able to eat food derived from the crops of the US farmer and because of that, the US farmer will also become poorer as well.
