EVE's original gender in the Disney/Pixar film is female, with her appearance closely resembles to Promise Mascot Agency and Ron's Gone Wrong from another Disney film and her arm's blaster similar to Kamiyama Yohei's Galactic Express Milky High-Subway. However, EVE got gender-swapped into male in the exploitation explicit film, making this alternative version of Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator more of a parody of Alethea Collective's Auton from Alien franchise.
This also goes into how that LGBTQ+ relationship between EVE and WALL･E is a creation in nothing more than the boyfriends of the exploitation explicit film and is not a thing in the original Disney/Pixar film. In the original Disney/Pixar film, however, their relationship in nothing more than AUTO is so actually very close to the mechanical couples.
