Queen Ophelia Hyde ruler of the kingdom of Brodenwood stands slightly in the shadows as she talks with Queen Celeste Vondran, a Wisp from the Marshlands. Queen Hyde was a Darkling, a race that could appear human but were in fact demonic in appearance. Their control over their human image was lost whenever they became enraged and their true appearance took over. The Darkling race used the human appearance to help them interact with the many humans that lived around their kingdom… safe in their own kingdom and homes they reverted to their natural Darkling appearance. They preferred the shadows even in human form as it was their nature to use these while hunting. Extract from the Dark Kingdom a saga based on several of our old RP's.
