More about Easter is Coming

A detailed watercolor painting depicts a festive Easter scene, where a colorful rooster adorned with long, white bunny ears, similar to those of an Easter Bunny, stands prominently over a nest of pastel-colored eggs. The rooster, with its vibrant red comb and wattles, bright yellow beak, and a magnificent plumage showcasing a spectrum of reds, oranges, yellows, and hints of blue and green on its tail feathers, gazes down intently at the eggs. The bunny ears rise high above its head, adding a whimsical touch to its otherwise customary appearance.

Around the rooster, several hens, with reddish-brown and white feathers, observe the scene, some peck at the ground while others appear to be guarding the nest. The eggs themselves are a soft array of colors: light blue, pink, and cream, nestled within a bed of golden straw. The background suggests a rustic setting, possibly a chicken coop or barn, with dark, shadowy areas contrasting against warmer, lighter tones that hint at a window letting in natural light from the right side of the frame. The overall style of the painting is painterly, with visible brushstrokes and a soft, diffused quality characteristic of watercolor, creating a charming and imaginative holiday tableau.
