More about African Tribal Trio

Three richly textured, colorful African tribal masks, carved from wood, are arranged side-by-side, each depicting a stylized face with exaggerated features and intricate details. The central mask is slightly larger and more prominent than the two flanking it.

The left mask features a predominantly blue face, with segments of yellow and orange on its forehead and cheeks. Its eyes are wide and round, with dark pupils, and its lips are full and orange. The head is encircled by a blue halo-like structure, adorned with scalloped edges of green and purple, and further framed by concentric circles in shades of orange, yellow, and blue. The body of this mask is decorated with geometric patterns in blue, green, and orange.

The central mask has a darker, more textured wood appearance. Its face is split vertically, with one side predominantly yellow and the other a mottled dark gray-brown. The eyes are wide and round, with dark pupils and orange rims. The lips are full and orange, and the neck features horizontal ridges resembling a stacked collar. A circular motif is present on its forehead. The head is framed by a broad, textured halo in shades of brown and yellow, and the body features a large circular medallion on the chest in blue
