melancholy haunting of bygone joys and sorrows, naivistic painting, retro graphics, restricted palette
Watercolor painting of a young woman with long, wavy, dark brown hair, captured in profile view, gazing down tenderly at an orange butterfly approaching her hand. She is wearing a cream-colored, long-sleeved dress with delicate pleats and patterns. The background is a vibrant, abstract mosaic of geometric shapes, mandalas, sunbursts, and colorful watercolor washes in shades of blue, red, yellow, and orange. Several smaller butterflies flutter around her in the dreamlike, ethereal space.
