ArtistDynamic comic-book style fantasy role-playing game book cover art, retro pulp detective title splash "PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS & OCCULT MAYHEM: THE ROLE-PLAYING GAME"; main images depictes two young heroines battling grotesque hooded ghouls in a twisted, dripping forest; low-angle, cinematic composition with strong foreshortening, one heroine in a torn cheerleader uniform brandishing a blood-smeared dagger with fierce determination, the other in a sleek black suit with bold yellow trim firing a muzzle-flash pistol that blows open a ghoul’s skull in an explosive spray of crimson gore and brain matter. Towering, robed, amorphous villain looms in background, eyes glowing molten orange, wet slime dripping from its hood like tar. Surrounding cadavers and cloaked monsters writhe in severed limbs, exposed bones, and ragged flesh; visceral splatter arcs across foreground. Dense, gnarled tree branches radiate outward to form a claustrophobic canopy, rendered in heavy black inking and crosshatching. High-contrast palette: sickly green atmospheric glow, deep purples and maroons for shadows, vivid blood red highlights, and warm yellow muzzle-light. Bold outlines, textured linework, halftone accents, dramatic motion lines, exaggerated expressions, cinematic lighting, gritty retro-horror comic style, high detail on gore, fabric tears, and dripping textures.

Core Rules (PDF, 13 pages):
Sample Rules Lite Adventure (PDF, 9 pages):
Just an experiment with AI prompting and attempting to create consistency. It's a streamlined OSR (1980s-style D&D) system. A bit simplified with lots of sandbox room for a GM to play in.
Addendum: The Core Rules pretty much only use a d6. The Rules Lite Sample Adventure, kinda went too creative and is more traditional OSR Rules in some areas. But between the two documents should be great ideas to mine. If there’s interest I may return to this project in future to flesh it out.
