High up in the sky, with wings so wide
An eagle soars, its feathers glide
With grace and ease, it catches the breeze
And to the heavens, it ascends with ease
Its sharp eyes scan, the earth below
For prey to catch, for its next show
A mouse, a rabbit, or even a fish
Its hunt is on, its focus won't miss
With a swift dive, it plummets down
Its target caught, without a sound
It spreads its wings and takes to flight
Its prize secured, with all its might
The eagle soars, above the land
Its wings spread wide, like a giant hand
It's a sight to see, this majestic bird
The flight of an eagle, is truly absurd
For though it seems effortless, with such poise
It takes skill and strength, to make that noise
To soar so high, and hunt with glee
The eagle is truly, a sight to see.
