Properties were bought up and sold.People were forced to move. No one could afford to live where they grew up... Property values went through the roof. But none of us could ever afford to own them. In the style of Ernie Barnes, southside Chicago 1970's, cornershop, wooden fence, dilapidated tenements, gray-brown tones, Ernie Barnes style people on the street, reflections in the wet pavement.
