A detailed close-up macro photograph of a sculpture depicting the profile of a human head and face, intricately constructed entirely from a dense, tangled, and interlocked mass of thousands of individual aged metal components. The components consist of varied hex nuts, bolts, screws, and numerous old, skeleton-style keys of different sizes and patinas. The metal has a rich, dark, rusted, and aged brass texture. The keys are woven throughout the structure, with key bows and shafts forming the specific contours of the nose, eye socket, lips, ear, and cheekbone. The lighting is dramatic, directional studio lighting, creating deep shadows within the complex layers of hardware to emphasize its three-dimensional form and texture against a dark, diffused background. The depth of field is shallow, focusing sharply on the central facial features while the background falls into a dark blur.
Close-up photo of a human profile bust, composed entirely of assorted metallic keys, bolts, and nuts. The sculpture is rendered in a warm, antiqued brass or bronze finish with visible patina and wear. Various key shapes, including skeleton keys and modern keys, intertwine with threaded bolts, washers, and hexagonal nuts, forming the contours of the face, including the brow, nose, lips, jaw, and neck. The lighting highlights the metallic sheen and the intricate texture of the assembled hardware. The background is a dark, out-of-focus, neutral gradient.
