Apple picking season at the orchard in the winter
An oil painting shows a wide view of an orchard during winter, with two rows of apple trees heavy with red apples stretching into the distance. A dusting of snow covers the ground between the trees and the branches above. A lone figure in a dark winter coat and jeans walks down the center path, away from the viewer, towards a distant building nestled among more trees. The sky is a soft, muted grey with subtle clouds, rendered with visible, textured brushstrokes typical of the impressionist style. The light is diffused, creating long shadows on the snowy ground.
