In a time of old, a prophet bold,
His wisdom known, his visions told,
Nostradamus, seer renowned,
With mystic musings did astound.
His prophecies, a cryptic lore,
Foretold of futures to explore,
With words so rhymed and riddles spun,
A puzzle left for years to stun.
Predictions penned in quatrains' light,
Revealing secrets, day and night,
Of wars and plagues, of kings and queens,
Of distant lands and unseen scenes.
His warnings heeded, or ignored,
His visions met with praise or scorned,
But Nostradamus, wise and true,
Kept revealing truths anew.
Centuries passed, and still today,
His legacy does not decay,
For Nostradamus, seer divine,
His words in time will always shine.
