"How long have you been here?", Carly asks the household android.
"I have been in this spot for thirty six years. My arms and legs no longer function, but my nuclear batteries will keep my main processor online for the next seven hundred years," replies Benson.
"How did you end up here?", asks Carly.
Benson replies in a chipper voice, "Master DuBois, the head of the household that I served, asked me to get out of the vehicle as they attempted to make their escape from the city. It's that car over there. I suspect that their bodies are still in the seats. I tried to save them, but was damaged by the same blast that killed them. I was just able to make it to this spot before my system shut down all extraneous systems to preserve my memories and processors. I am certainly glad for your company. Usually I only have an occasional bird that visits."
