Two cats ride side by side on two saddled fallow deer, holding the reins. The orange and white cat has a fashionable bow in her hair and is smiling happily, while the tabby and white cat is looking at her with love and admiration. A dusty road winding through a valley, with trees on the sides of the road in the background.
The cats have saddled up two small fallow deer. They chat along the way; the lady tries to smile, but her suitor looks somewhat unsure. Moreover, he is holding the deer by the ear instead of gripping its antlers.
In terms of size, these animals are well-matched to cats; a small fallow deer weighs around ten kilograms, making the weight ratio similar to that of a human on horseback. However, the size proportions in the picture are exaggerated; the fallow deer should really be a bit larger.
Part of the "Cats as Castle Lords" series of images.
