Create an image of a wooden barge floating on a wide, slow flowing canal through a steep sided rocky gorge. The barge supports a large residential neighbourhood with traditional Asian architecture rising a few stories from the deck. The scene depicts a misty or smoggy day, with soft diffused warm lighting. Buildings are multi-storied with dark wooden frames, overhanging eaves, and tiled roofs featuring gentle curves accentuating each tier. There is no uniformity to the buildins, each of which is appears to have been built with whatever materials were available at the time, Lush greenery sprouts from balconies and rooftops, giving an impression of an integration with nature. Strings of large Chinese lanterns hang from some of the eves and warm tungsten light shines from some of the windows of the houses on the barge. The ground floor of the builldings are occupied by shops and restaurants thrwoing a warm orange light onto the decks. A few smaller boats are moored to the barge, their owners appear to be trading goods with some of the denizens of the barge.
