ArtistI was a canvas smooth and new, Painted in shades of morning blue. But time came by with wind and rain, To mark the joy and mark the pain. The colors faded, the surface broke, Like words that vanished when I spoke. But where the cracks began to show, A hidden gold began to glow. Now birds of indigo take flight, Across the ruin and the light. No longer perfect, smooth, or whole, But I have gained a golden soul.
A detailed painting features large, ethereal blue eyes centered in the middle of the image, with tear-like droplets falling from them. These eyes are surrounded by swirls and patterns reminiscent of water or clouds, in shades of light blue, white, and subtle pink. Numerous blue birds, some flying with wings outstretched and others more abstract or petaled in form, are scattered across the top half of the painting and descending towards the bottom. Interspersed among the birds and throughout the composition are bright, golden, glowing specks and lines, some appearing as connected threads of light on a water-like surface below the eyes, creating a path, and others as radiating light sources. The background depicts a blurry cityscape or abstract architectural elements in cool tones, suggesting depth. Prominent cracked patterns filled with gold, reminiscent of kintsugi art, weave across the painting, creating a sense of brokenness and repair. The overall color palette is dominated by various shades of blue, white, and gold, with a soft, dreamlike quality.
