In Scripture, God uses clouds to communicate His divine presence, guidance, and glory.
God’s Visible Presence: Clouds represent the "Shekinah" glory of God. In the Old Testament, the Lord descended in a "thick cloud" on Mount Sinai to speak to Moses and give the Ten Commandments. Similarly, when the Tabernacle was completed, a cloud covered it, signifying that God dwelt among the Israelites.
Exaltation and Return: Clouds act as a divine vehicle. Jesus was taken up into a cloud during His ascension into heaven, and scripture prophesies that He will return "with the clouds" in great power and glory.
