On the one hand, it's a relief when a person wakes up to save themselves from falling into the river from a high-lying very-thin traverse they accidentally ran onto, but on the other hand, it's a bit of a disappointment because they'll never know if they could have held on to their swaying and not fallen, or what it would be like to fall for a long time and eventually not be down there anymore.
