ArtistWatercolor, wet on wet, beautiful blonde fairy of the ocean, with red accents and with beautiful eyes that stares at you from afar in translucent mosaicking colors, waves in background by Daniel Merriam, Josephine Wall
A watercolor painting depicting a mythical scene within arched window frames, featuring a fairy or mermaid with long blonde curly hair, blue eyes, and red lips, adorned with a red flower in her hair and delicate, stained-glass-like wings in shades of blue, pink, and yellow. She is wearing a red, scale-textured top, partially submerged in turbulent, multicolored water with white foam. The background is divided into three arched sections: the left arch showcases a vibrant sunset over an ocean with waves in warm tones, the middle arch displays a majestic castle perched on a rocky cliff with crashing waves, and the right arch shows more tumultuous sea with dark rocks and hints of sky. The overall style is dreamlike and illustrative, with a strong emphasis on color and flowing forms. In the foreground, partially visible in the water, are red, scaly textures possibly belonging to a mermaid tail, and a hand holding a decorative, circular, light blue and gold object with intricate filigree.
