More about Attracted by the light (4)

Several moths are silhouetted against a textured, translucent surface, which is illuminated from behind. The lighting transitions from a brighter, warm orange-gold at the bottom center to a darker, cooler blue-gray at the top left. Many of the moths display distinct patterns of light and dark bands on their wings, visible because of the backlighting. Some moths are positioned with their wings fully spread, while others have their wings slightly folded. The textured surface creates a diffused and slightly distorted appearance of the light.
