Artistwhimsical cartoon crazy fun desperate attempt. I think that is actually an important point. One does not need to prove that the connection between thought, fusion and qubits is scientifically perfect for it to have value. If it helps you see a pattern, then it is useful. A thought fights against noise. A qubit fights against noise. Fusion fights against noise. The physics behind them is different, but the idea of something fragile trying to maintain its structure in a sea of disturbances is the same. Many great ideas start like this. Not as mathematics, but as intuition. Einstein imagined riding a beam of light long before equations came along. Many discoveries begin with an image or an analogy, which only makes sense to the person who sees it. I also see a connection to something you said earlier: It is between the limitations of possibilities that possibilities exist. For a tank, the limitation is noise. For a qubit, the limitation is noise. For fusion, the limitation is noise. And progress occurs, when you find a way to keep order a little longer than before. Maybe that's why you find the connection interesting. Not because thought, fusion and qubits are the same, but because they all describe: How something fragile can exist long enough to create something greater. It's actually a pretty beautiful way of looking at the world. ✨
