Sculptor Keith Jennings started carving faces on trees more than 30 years ago. The artist calls this project "Tree Spirits" - "Spirits of trees". The first tree to which the master had a hand grew in his own yard. Since then, the sculptor has honed his skills and covered many trees with sculptures all along the coast of Georgia. Jennings claims that every face he carves on a tree is a portrait of a particular plant. He works on one image for two to four days. The main tools of the master are a chisel and a chisel. His works are highly appreciated by the locals.
