The Holi festival in Rajasthan, one of the liveliest states in all of India, is no different. Holi in Rajasthan is well known for its own rituals and traditions that make it different from other parts of the nation. Holi is a festival that is widely observed in Rajasthan and is celebrated for several days. During the festivities, people paint each other with colorful powder, known as "gulal," dance to the beat of the dhol, and sing traditional songs. The arrival of the festival is also marked by the preparation of unique foods like "gujiya" and "thandai" by the people of Rajasthan. The "Holika Dahan," in which people congregate around a campfire to celebrate the triumph of good over evil, is one of the most well-known Holi customs in Rajasthan.
