ArtistA humorous and slightly melancholic illustration inspired by the irreverent, rebellious spirit of French chanson singer Renaud and his song "Triviale Poursuite". An old-fashioned French working-class café, where a group of eccentric characters are gathered around a small wooden table playing a game of Trivial Pursuit. A scruffy, red-nosed regular with a worn leather jacket, an old-fashioned beret and a cigarette dangling from his lips looks completely bewildered by a trivia question. Around him, colorful and slightly caricatural characters argue passionately, gesturing wildly and laughing. On the table, a Trivial Pursuit board, scattered question cards, colorful playing pieces, half-empty glasses of red wine and a few cigarette packets. The atmosphere is lively, irreverent, proudly unconventional and gently anarchic.
