The Garden of Relativity denies its slippery slope. Here, values are expressed with conviction—justice, integrity, fairness—but these values shift and morph. The Garden of Relativity is intentionally harvested on a slippery slope, where roots cling to shifting soil, and each bloom competes for unstable ground. Here, values flourish only to be uprooted and replanted elsewhere as the slope shifts, making true stability impossible. What grows isn’t a reflection of steadfast principles but of whatever can survive the slide.
The garden reveals that values aren’t fixed truths; they’re relative, molded to fit desired outcomes. If you don’t see the relevance of Lord of the Flies to today’s society, you might be closer to it than you think.
