We ar now going to explore a civilization which never developed telephones or cars. Let's see how they compare and contrast with ours. At an early stage, CW and MCW radio communication was discovered, as a means of inter-community news and event communication, as there was no automobile transport, and people soon got fed up walking several miles just for a chat. Protein-rich agriculture was efficiently farmed in some, and became so widespread that no tariffs were necessary except for local LETS networks. Other houses focussed on technological research, and soon CW radio systems were bartered for food and pianolas (pneumatic music players). Soon technology had developed ionospherically-powered lighting systems, again bartered for food, pianolas, and radios. There was no need for taxation, as each community had ample time to look after their own hamlets, without wasting it on telephones and cars. No advertisements lurked ominously, sapping the dopamine and oxytocin of the citizens, since everyone had all they needed, without coveting thy neighbours chattels or wives. [TO BE CONTINUED]
