To do this, it was enough to sprinkle them with a drop of blood. And Keiko began to make wonderful fresh flowers, these flowers were expensive; and the girl had money. Once, having bought herself a beautiful kimono, she went to a student ball. There she met and fell in love with a poor student, Aratumi. But Aratumi was prudent and mercenary. He made Keiko work harder and harder. And the moment came when, for the sake of money, Keiko was forced to give her last drop of blood and die. This scarlet flower that Keiko brought to life with her last drop of blood was named Magnolia.
