A cat walking on the keys of a grand piano, depicted as a pencil sketch
A highly detailed black and white etching style pencil illustration featuring a striped tabby cat walking across the keys of a Steinway and Sons grand piano. The cat, shown in a three-quarter profile facing right, has its tail raised high and curved slightly at the tip, its legs delicately stepping on the black and white keys, and its head lowered as it peers intently down. The intricate crosshatching technique brings out the texture of the cat's fur, the wooden grain of the piano, and the complex mechanics within the open lid of the grand piano, which is propped up by a stick. The entire composition is rendered on a clean, off-white background with no other elements, highlighting the texture and precision of the drawing.
