The third and final member of our Trinity, is Destruction of that which is no longer relevant, Closure, Completion, and the resultant Garbage Collection of Spacetime in order to make room for new possibilities. It can be symbolised by various religious entities (Shiva -- destroyer of ignorance, maybe the Grim Reaper, maybe Mars, and so on). In cybernetics it can be represented by the Destructor function, which releases storage space in order to tidy up the environent (which Human Industry has sadly failed to do for so long!), and by the Delete and Format commands. All travel routes eventually reach a destination, and the information gained (entropy increased) goes into the "Collective Unconcious" or Akasha (Quantum Vacuum) in order to produce "History", which helps others make better attempts in the future (hence "Destroyer of Ignorance"). Civilizations stand on the shoulders of Giants -- those which have explored and found a locally-maximised path (Plato, Tesla, Edison, Jesus, Einstein, and so on) until someone finds (or stumbles across) a better one. Meanwhile the sum of all knowledge (Entropy) of the Universe is increasing -- this is one of the Laws of Thermodynamics". Eventually, in billions of years, the Universe will get a proverbial "Disk Full" error -- called the "Heat Death", and maybe collapse into a black hole, or even loop round as a "White Hole" and start all over again, rebooting itself for yet another try :) SEE ALSO THE OTHER TWO DRAWINGS -- CREATION, AND PERSISTENCE :)
