Surreal Spheres Slab

More about Surreal Spheres Slab

A still life photograph captures a surreal indoor setting with geometric shapes and spheres. In the center, a large, rectangular slab of teal-green material with a textured surface stands vertically on a tiled floor. A circular hole is cut out from the upper middle of the slab. Around the slab, several spheres float in mid-air and rest on the floor. Two large, polished golden spheres reflect light brightly, one sitting on the tiled floor to the right of the slab and the other hovering to the left. Smaller, glossy teal spheres float at various heights in the dark-walled room. The walls are a dark teal or charcoal color, and the floor is made of light grey, square tiles. The lighting creates strong highlights on the spheres and casts a soft shadow on the floor beneath the right golden sphere.

Note: This is a further, although to me inexplicable, abstraction from Courbet.
