Cody's Eye 2025A.D Will You receive My Light.
In a sinful world, it takes courage to tell the truth because the truth exposes wrongdoing and threatens the comfort of those who benefit from or participate in sin. In a culture that often prefers to be comfortable, truth-telling can be met with resistance, rejection, and retribution. Speaking the truth is an act of spiritual and moral courage that aligns with God's will and brings light to darkness, often at a personal cost. John 9:41, where He says, "If you were blind, you would have no sin, but now you say, 'We see'; therefore your sin remains". In this passage, Jesus is explaining that the Pharisees' spiritual blindness, their refusal to acknowledge their need for God, and their proud claim of spiritual insight are what keeps them in sin. If they had recognized their own spiritual darkness, they would have sought the truth and found forgiveness, but their self-proclaimed sight prevents them from receiving His light.
