Hi Dreamers, when we publish a dream on DDG, part of the joy is hoping that fellow dreamers will enjoy it, try the prompt, modify it, use it as inspiration or as a template, and explore it with different models. Very often, the resulting dream can look completely different from the original.
For me, the original prompt still belongs to the person who created it, and I always appreciate keeping that origin in mind. But when someone tries or adapts a shared prompt, the new image generated for them becomes their own interpretation of that idea.
I place my signature only on dreams that were generated specifically for me. I don’t mean the signature as a claim of ownership over the original idea or over what another dreamer may create from the prompt. It is simply my way of identifying my own finished dream and, hopefully, discouraging someone from downloading the image itself and reusing or reposting it without my consent.
That is only my personal way of looking at it, of course. One of the loveliest things about DDG is seeing the same little seed grow into completely different dreams in different hands.
