A mixed-media portrait of a young child with vibrant, springy, bright blond curls and fair skin scattered with light freckles, looking straight at a scruffy black-and-tan terrier with large green eyes and a playful, pouting kiss face, lips pursed. The child wears a cozy orange-gray chunky-knit sweater with visible cable-knit texture and a ribbed collar. Soft, out-of-focus neutral gray background, head-and-shoulders framing, centered composition, shallow depth of field. Soft, diffused studio lighting with a gentle key light from the upper left, creating soft catchlights in the eyes, delicate natural skin texture, slightly rosy cheeks, individual curl strands catching the light. Warm, whimsical mood with a painterly mixed-media texture.
