In Germany, a woman is the victim of femicide almost every day. Over 70% of the perpetrators come from their domestic environment: they are their husbands, partners, or fathers. Over 50,000 women and girls are victims of sexual violence each year and the numbers are constantly rising. The offenders are almost always white male German citizens, and not migrants, as right-wing populists always claim.
We all must stand up against violence against women and prevent femicide! Parents have to teach young boys how to deal with their emotions before it is too late! We have to stop sexistic narratives! We have to stop supression and religious discrimination of the female body! Women, life, freedom!
