In a deep and murky lake so wide,
Lives Champy, a legendary hide.
A creature of lore, a monster of might,
With eyes that gleam in the moon's soft light.
Some say it's serpent-like, a fearsome sight,
With scales that shimmer, catching the light.
Its long neck stretches, searching for prey,
Lurking in darkness, biding its way.
With a splash and a roar, Champy appears,
Thrashing and splashing, igniting fears.
But Champy's heart is kind, its nature pure,
A gentle giant, that's for sure.
Children laugh and play by the shore,
Knowing Champy won't harm them anymore.
For Champy's legend now renowned,
A friendly creature, loved all around.
So if you're near Champy's lake one day,
Listen closely, you just might say,
The whispers of a legend that's alive,
A mythical being that continues to thrive.
