Inspired byA towering surreal chamber painted as an ancient fresco, its walls bending inward toward a distant central vortex. Elongated Renaissance figures, melancholy harlequins, contemplative women and floating theatrical masks emerge from interwoven geometric planes. A seated woman in the foreground holds her hands against her cheeks, her patterned robes flowing into the architecture. Overhead, inverted faces, a suspended cage and celestial discs inhabit impossible perspectives. Intricate arabesques, fine botanical tracery and abstract constellations cover the surfaces. Weathered gold, ochre, muted teal, charcoal, ivory and vermilion; cracked plaster, aged oil paint and delicate patina. Dramatic foreshortening, sweeping depth, lucid facial features, anatomically coherent hands, crisp ornamental detail and soft luminous shadows. Expand the surrounding chamber seamlessly while preserving the intimate, dreamlike atmosphere. Tall portrait composition. No text, lettering, borders or watermark.
A wide-angle, surrealist painting in the style of Remedios Varo or Leonora Carrington, featuring a long, arched, vaulted chamber with a checkerboard floor that spirals inward into a deep tunnel or abyss in the center.
