In ancient times, a tale is told,
Of Samson, strong and brave and bold.
A wedding feast, a riddle set,
A challenge met, a tricky bet.
A lion roared with mighty roar,
Samson slew with strength galore.
A riddle formed, a puzzling test,
A wager made, a daring quest.
The Philistines sought to solve the clue,
But all in vain, no answer true.
They begged and pleaded, night and day,
But Samson's riddle held its sway.
With cunning wit and clever mind,
Samson's secret they could not find.
His wife deceived, her tears did flow,
The answer given, the truth did show.
Samson's riddle, a lesson learned,
To trust in strength can be overturned.
For in life's challenges, big and small,
Wisdom and wit can conquer all.
