'Twas the night before Christmas at Cyboss's house
and the wine was breathing (a 2020 Blue Grouse).
The fireplace was ready for a warm fire to share,
In the hopes that St. Nicolette* soon would be there.
Cyboss in bathrobe and jaunty red cap
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
He sprang from his bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window he flew like a flash,
Tore open the curtains and threw up the sash.
When what to his wondering eyes did appear
But Aífe and Debbie singing songs of good cheer!
Like nails on a blackboard, like a knife scraping glass,
The singers just belted out carols - badass!
Cyboss shuddered right down to his toes
(His musical senses offended, I spose.)
At last he exclaimed, when he couldn't go on,
Merry Christmas you two, NOW GET OFFA MY LAWN!!
