A large group of men and women dressed in 17th-century peasant attire pose in a dimly lit, rustic room with metal paneled floors, wooden furniture, and painted murals covering the walls. On the left side of the room, a bearded man in a wide-brimmed black hat, grey trench coat, and tall black boots peers out a square window. Below him rests a small portrait in a gold frame. A line of four women stand in profile, moving toward the right side of the room. The first wears a long-sleeved red dress, the second an off-white gown, the third a grey and blue dress with tall brown boots, and the fourth a golden-yellow dress. Behind the women, several bearded men, women with long hair, and one woman with blonde hair, also in period dress, stand in a crowd. On the right, a bearded man in a black coat and tall boots plays a large harp. Another man stands near a lantern on a wooden stand in the right foreground.
