More about Cody's Eye Jesus Our High Priest Forever 2026A.D.

Jesus is a priest—specifically our Great High Priest—because He serves as the ultimate mediator, offering a permanent sacrifice to reconcile humanity with God.
Key Ways Jesus Serves as a Priest
• Being Both Human and Divine: A priest must represent humanity before God. Jesus assumed human nature through His incarnation, experiencing human weaknesses and temptations (yet without sin), which allows Him to genuinely sympathize with us.
• Offering Himself as the Sacrifice: Unlike Levitical priests who repeatedly sacrificed animals day after day and year after year, Jesus offered Himself as a single, unrepeatable, and perfect sacrifice on the cross. This once-for-all sacrifice gained eternal redemption.
• A Priesthood After Melchizedek: Jesus did not come from the hereditary Levitical line of Aaron (which required physical descent). Instead, as prophesied in Psalm 110:4, He was appointed by God as an eternal priest in the order of Melchizedek—a superior, non-hereditary, and unending order.
• Continuous Intercession in Heaven: After His resurrection and ascension, Jesus entered the heavenly sanctuary. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father, continually advocating, praying, and interceding for believers.
• Providing Direct Access to God: Under the old system, only the High Priest could enter the inner sanctuary (the Holy of Holies) once a year. When Jesus died, the temple veil tore from top to bottom, granting all believers direct, bold access to God's presence
