ArtistI knew a woman, lovely in the heart, when small birds sang, she would sing back at them. she danced like a form of art, and as she spoke, her words were chosen gems. The things she bought were always to share, as she walked by, she would notice the stares while she played with her long wavy hair. I knew a woman, lovely in the heart, she was happier than before, when she met that devil. She would wait for him and prepare many fruitful tarts, be around his arms, like someone special. She would daydream, all day and all night read love stories that made her smile bright, read love poems, then memorize and recite. I knew a woman, lovely in the heart, a beautiful lively sunflower. She would be glum in dark gloomy weather, now she dances in the rain for hours. But everything would come crashing down altogether, when a promise was made to be together. A promise that would defy their love forever. I knew a woman, lovely in the heart, that quickly faded away and darkened. A promise of hope, sworn by the heart but on this lonely night, her small hope shattered. With every passing hour, tears roll down, and memories filled with lies pass before her eyes. As she walks these paths. One. Last. Time.
