More about Hades the Keeper of the Underworld Poem

Hades, ruler of the dark domain,
Where souls depart, in death's refrain,
With pitch-black cloak and helm of dread,
He governs the realm of the silent dead.
In the Underworld, where shadows dwell,
Hades holds sway with an unyielding spell,
Guarding the gates to the realm unseen,
Where souls pass through, their final scene.
He is feared by mortals, revered by all,
For his power vast, both great and small,
But beneath his stern and somber guise,
Lies a depth of wisdom, ancient and wise.
Hades, keeper of the afterlife's gate,
Decides the fate of souls' eternal state,
Judging their deeds with impartial eye,
In the realm where shades forever lie.
Oh, Hades, lord of the Underworld deep,
Whose vigilance in darkness does keep,
We pay homage to your solemn might,
And honor you with reverence bright.
