A National Geographic photographer seek shelter in a cave after a storm and finds an opening where sunrays pierce through the opening from above, down to the base of a underground cavern ecosystem that has vines that scale the towering walls reaching for the sunlight, small trees, flowering plants and ferns plants grow around the crumbled and fallen boulders at the bottom of the cavern. A fresh water creak makes it's way through the sandy soil.
