Doctors have and continue to preform medically unnecessary surgeries on intersex infants to alter their genitalia to align with societal norms of male or female appearances.
It is common for people who are intersex to die not knowing the truth, or finding out much later in life their true identity.
When we enforce social norms, and definitions with militancy, this militancy grows only to propagate more militancy.
Accepting those for who they are isn't meant to be the struggle that it is know to be. Why would we rigidly enforce identity?
Who are you to say who I am?
Would you enforce your short sightedness upon me?
Young men are easily confused by this. When you fight another regarding your perception of their identity, you project your own insecurities.
Masculine men are...
When you as a man you force your identity upon someone, or attack someone based on their identity. The more aggressive you rigidly enforcing your identity of being masculine upon others, the more obvious it is to everyone besides some of your friends you have deep feeling of inadequacy.
Males are prone to hyper competitive behavior. Would you turn this into a weakness, or use it as fuel to become a better man?
Would you allow yourself to be mentally enslaved to your identity?
True masculinity is silencing other men with your actions not your words. Not in violence, in subduing perpetrators of violence. To show other men the truth of being a man is showing those that think they are at the pinnacle of hierarchy the truth in their folly.
To protect the weak, the innocent. To never stop training your mind, and body. To allow the ignorant grace, allow them peace. When you must; demonstrate they are no match. If they must test you, take no glee when you show them their knees.
The true pinnacle of the masculine is to honor the feminine with your physical, and cognitive gifts in sacrifice.
Work on yourself, become better. As you build yourself, you will add to any group you're a part of. Instead of feeling that you must defend a group because an attack on them is an attack on your identity.
