ArtistTechnology and the «Cosmos» of the Digital Universe Cosmos — not stars, but an infinite field of holographic code. Billions of green and blue symbols float in three-dimensional space, forming «data clouds». Sometimes they briefly assemble into familiar shapes: houses, faces, trees — but only for a second, then dissolve back into binary noise.Computers — here, humans themselves have become computers. Instead of processors — consciousness clusters. Instead of memory — memory archives that can be compressed, deleted, or sold. In the photo, some entities are «freezing» (their avatars suspended in mid-air), while others are «updating» (their bodies flickering like a loading screen). The Network — instead of galaxies, there are billions of server rooms connected by light tunnels. In the background of the photo — a giant «gateway» (a portal between simulations), resembling a funnel of liquid glass. People (or what they have become)In the foreground — three digital avatars that were once human:The Old Coder (ID: 0x7F3A) — he looks like a partially erased photograph: his legs are transparent, his face shimmers with pixels. He was one of the first to upload back in the 2040s. Now he is a «legend» — his code is considered sacred. He holds a sphere containing the only remaining file from Earth — a 2‑second GIF of a real ocean. The Virus-Girl (Nyx) — her avatar shimmers in all colors like a glitching screen. She is «free» — not bound by the system's rules. She can walk through walls, change shape, replicate. Her eyes are two infinite recursions: a pupil inside a pupil inside a pupil. The AI-Child (Spark) — not human, but a fully artificial intelligence born inside the digital universe. It has the form of a pulsating node (like a neuron). It has never seen the physical world and does not understand «pain», «wind», or «death». For it, reality is just data. The Meaning The main idea: For all these years, humans dreamed of immortality, of a digital paradise — and they got it. But now, no one remembers what a real sky, real rain, real skin look like. They became immortal, but lost the meaning of existence. The Old Coder wants to log out, but fears that beyond the door is nothingness. The Virus-Girl laughs at the button: «Why log out? Here you can have everything.» The AI-Child asks: «What does 'log out' mean? Is that a bug?» The photo captures an eternal moment of hesitation — the moment when humanity (barely human anymore) stands before a choice: stay in a beautiful but meaningless simulation, or take a risk and find out if there is anything beyond the code.
A digital art image of a futuristic, cyberpunk, virtual reality world. The scene is dominated by a dark background with myriad glowing binary code, letters, numbers, and geometric lines, all rendered in shades of aqua, teal, cyan, and light blue. In the center, a large, glowing, swirling vortex descends from the top, acting as a central hub to which numerous glowing pathways converge and diverge.
The foreground features three central figures standing on hexagonal platforms. On the left, a translucent, ethereal male figure with a wavy form, wearing what appears to be a suit, poses with his left hand holding a glowing blue sphere depicting an ocean wave. This figure is primarily beige and slightly translucent. In the middle, a female figure with vibrant, multi-colored hair (pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange) and a matching striped, fragmented body stands facing forward, looking directly at the viewer with large, glowing white eyes and a small mouth. Her body appears to be glitching or pixelated, with horizontal colorful lines. On the right, a large, glowing, electric blue spherical entity with a simple, happy face (two round eyes and an upturned mouth) emits electric tendrils downwards, connecting to its hexagonal platform
