A thickly applied oil impasto painting dominated by the combined style of Amanda Clark, Amedeo Modigliani and Paul Klee; with minor influence by Zdzislaw Beksinski, Wassily Kandinsky and Kay Nielsen, a trace hints of the combined works of Rafal Olbinski, Martin Johnson Heade and Hanna Yata. The painting is surreal and minimalist representation of the Magic Theatre from the novel, Steppenwolf, by Herman Hesse, but limited to a composition with three objects of interest. The scene also shares ambience with the Moulin Rouge and the Kit Kat Club of late 1920s Berlin. The scene shows great depth with the foreground rendered in high detail and vibrant colors which fade into a smoky background haze of much less definition, in other words, deep atmospheric depth.

The mask has a red pattern on its forehead and cheeks and is adorned with a golden, patterned frame. In the foreground, a small, round, dark wooden table with intricate legs holds a top hat and a stemmed glass with a light amber drink. The hat is black with a textured gold band, and the glass is half-full of a golden liquid. On the right side of the room, a shadowy, cartoonish figure, possibly a jester or harlequin, stands with a light gray, nearly white, background. This figure is wearing a black jester's hat with large pointy extensions and small orange balls on the tips, a red and black outfit with an orange diamond pattern on the chest, and dark, empty circles for eyes, reminiscent of a cartoon character. The room features multiple sconces on the dark walls, casting warm yellow light, with ornate golden flourishes around them. The floor is dark and reflective, catching the light from the door and sconces.
