This song is in Afrikaans. No, it's not my first language, nor second; I just think it's a lovely language. I regret not learning it during my teenage years like I did with several other languages. Now that I'm older, it feels a bit late to start learning it. Speaking of this song, even though I have some Greek ancestry in my family tree, I can confidently say I know more Afrikaans words than Greek. That's why I chose to create a version of this song in Afrikaans rather than Greek (another reason is that I don't completely trust the translator).
