A stylized color sketch in the Furry style. (side view). The painting shows a rocky ledge on the right, above a coniferous forest. On the left side of the sky is a pale red sunset. Sitting on the ledge is an anthropomorphic young white tiger (25 years old) with blue hair, wearing a black-and-blue hoodie and dark green pants. His legs are bent at the knees. He is turned left, looking at the sunset with a sad and pensive expression. His wings are lowered, resting on the ground. Behind him, further to the right, silhouettes of anthropomorphic panthers appear from the waist up, flying in the air. They are pulling the tiger backward, grabbing his hands, clothes, and wings. Outline style: quick strokes with a black pencil overlapping one another to emphasize the contours. Fill: colored, warm hues with soft transitions, splashes of color. Serious, skillful, detailed, inspiring.
DDG is a wonderful place, filled with amazing people who hold different perspectives, interests, and beliefs. It is perhaps the only place where I can freely express myself and learn to articulate my thoughts and feelings through art. Yet in this case, my openness has unexpectedly backfired.
I still can’t quite understand what exactly happened and what caused it.
Maybe I let myself be too vulnerable...
Maybe I took on an idea I wasn’t ready for...
Maybe my view of this place and these people is too idealized...
Maybe nothing truly significant happened at all, and I just created the problem in my own mind...
It seems I have trapped in a web of my own thoughts, misinterpretations, and deceptive sensations. This is a lesson I must reflect on and learn.
I need a break, perhaps a week or more, before I can return to my sketches with a light play of forms. No more explanations... no more excuses... those who know me will understand.
See you soon, and I thank the DDG community for this experience.
